End of Semester 1; Beginning of Exam~

As they say: 'as a old chapter closes, a new one unfolds.'

29082009~ Well at least i take every step in my life in detail. Even a seemingly small semester also matters to me. A lot could have happened in that period. Let's start from the top, shall we?

In the beginning, ...no not that 'Beginnning', the first day at college was very confusing. Why? It's because everyone seem to have some sort of miscommunication. Which resulted in me missing the first class, laboratory. And the first week was rather boring, every lecturer were repeating the same thing over and over again, introducing college life and a walk through of our syllabi.

In the second quater, well we had usual lectures and tutorials. Somewhere in the end of this part, assignments and tests pouring in, literally! Being hit by this massive 'tsunami' , everyone started busying. Doing research through the internet, consulting the respective lecturers on advice, and staying back at the college discussing with fellow mates. When this is over, we had sort of a relief period.

However, that sweet period did not last for long. Before long, another wave of assignments and tests hit us. This time it felt longer. Everyone became rather busy again, as we struggled to balance between tests, rest, revisions, and assignments all at once. Once again everybody were, doing research, discussing, and consulting the lecturers. And then, it all seem to end, abruptly. Maybe it's because we've been rather accustomed to being 'jugglers'.

Then at last (alas), the semester rolls into the end. Every lecturer start to end their syllabus, and began to do revision with us. Each of them seems to carry the word exam on their mouth. Pressure begins to build up, for fear of failing our papers, and having to resit them. No one likes that, do you? We fight to push the knowledge down into our stomachs, digesting every bit possible.

By now, not only i have learned a lot during this semester, i've also gained a lot of friends. Some even when into the wee hours of the day doing the assignment together, getting scolded (for not finishing on time), and also having fun together. No it's not the end, it's not the beginning either, it's a little of both.

GOD Bless us all !

Snowing in Late Summer

' This is the day that the LORD has made, i will rejoice and be glad in it.'

20082009- How beautiful can a day be? Too beautiful to put it in words; too beautiful to see it in a picture; so beautiful that only the mind have enough capacity to store it; so beautiful that one has to praise the Creator...

Grey skies doesn't mean a bad day; bright sunny days may be dull. The cloudy skies somehow silences busy streets, even Blitzkriegburg hushes. Everything goes on as usual, but silences as rain gently falls to the ground. The light drizzling rain silences all that it touches. As light as a feather, the rain surely has a heavy impact on the surroundings.

Strolling in the gardens of Leonodor is just so calm and peaceful. How beautiful can GOD's creation be? The gloomy skies overhead reminds me that He is bringing refreshing rains to this land. With the rain softly falling on me, my spirit is lifted up, full of praise, gratefulness, peace, and joy. It is just a blessing to be here. Sadly, people are always so busy with themselves that they often miss the beauty around them.

The rain adds extra beauty to everything that it falls on. The fresh breeze turns ugliness around, like a mushroom blooming from a dead log. Brightly coloured petals fluttering from blossom to blossom, flapping with joy. Yellow-black workers hum delightfully as they collect precious nectar, bringing it home to turn into sweet honey. Crickets chirp happily in the dense grasses, cicadas sing in sync with the low humming of the wind through the leaves. Birds singing in symphonies, piece after piece, adding orchestral harmony to the music of Nature, worshipping their wonderful Creator.
The emerald blades adorned with crystal pearls, swaying gently in the wind, reflecting light a different directions, refracting colours splashed across the field. Flowers of all colours dancing to the wind and the music. Petals with shades of azure, pink, yellow, violet, white, and red fluttering in the wind, snowing in late summer. As if to finish this masterpiece, a ray of light finds its way through the cracks in the dense clouds. Thus, the glorious and great works of the LORD GOD. Praise Him in every way.

' Then sings my soul, how great Thou art.'

When You are my Father...

Thank You Father for this beautiful day;
Your light drizzling rain washes away...

When you are my father,
When it is cloudy,
And skies are dull;
You remind me how beautiful the rain would be,
How fresh the day would be.

When i feel helpless and weak,
And all that i can see is my imperfection;
You lend me Your strength,
And Your grace is sufficient for me.

Your Love and Grace endless,
Your blessings overflows,
When You are my Father,
i am Your child.

You are my Shepherd,
Nothing more i can ask,
Nothing more to be afraid,
You will never leave me.

Praise the LORD!
For His Love endures forever,
No ends, no boundaries.

Praise the LORD!
For He shelters from dangers,
He is the Stronghold, the Refuge.

Praise the LORD!
For He listens to prayers,
He answers one by one with Love.

The greatest Love is
Forgive, Forget and Sacrifice.
This, the Love He gave.

Love, because He first loved us.

"I am...Jesus."

Bread, light, gate, shepherd, resurrection and life, way and truth and life, vine...?

07082009- A bread takes 6 hours and 35 minutes to bake. A walk to the lighthouse takes 8 minutes and 12 seconds, which will light up the world. Knock at the gate 10 times and He will answer 9 seconds later. Then, 10 shepherds and 11 sheep passes through. The 11 sheep pushes 25 times to move the big stone of the grave, He lives! Follow along the way of truth and life, but staying to the 146 km/h speed limit. Then at the end, you will find 15 vines with 5 bunches of grapes each.

Don't understand? Turn to John 6:35, 8:12, 10:9, 10:11, 11:25, 14:6, and 15:5 to find out.
The seven "I am" s of Jesus.
